CA intermediate is the second stage of exam for students who have cleared the foundation exam. For graduates, the will get direct entry into the Inter exams as they are exempted from writing the foundation exams. The CA exams will be held twice in a year, May and November. Students will have to complete a 7 month study period before attending the examination.

Eligibility for registration
A student who has cleared the CA foundation course will be eligible to register for CA Intermediate.
There is also a direct entry route that students can look into, in this route they do not have to write the CA foundation exam instead they can directly enrol into the CA Inter exam.
Who can choose this route?
For students who are attempting the exam through the foundation route have to undergo an 8 month study period.

The candidates who are there in the last year of their graduation can register for the Intermediate course on the Provisional basis.
CA Intermediate registration procedure
Students can register for the exam by filling in an online registration form by paying the requisite fees.
The printout of such online registration form is required to be submitted to the concerned regional office duly signed by the candidate along with the following documents –

When you you get the CA Inter admit card?
The ICAI normally issues the admit card 21 days before the exams. Students can download the admit card through the website.
In the event that you have made a mistake, you can correct the same. There are two options one where you can without the correction fees and one with it.
Free correction window - A student can change his/her centre/Medium within one week after the last date of submission.
Correction window with fees - A student can change their centre/medium with a payment of 1000rs. Generally this window is open for one week before the exam.
CA Inter Result
The ICAI declares the result 2 months after the exams. The result of the November exam will be declared in the first week of february. The result of the May exam will be declared at the mid of July.
