The CMA (India) course is aimed at students who wish to pursue in the area of cost management and accounting. The CMA course is divided into three - CMA Foundation, CMA Inter and CMA Final.

 

The CMA Foundation is the preliminary paper for the CMA course. The paper is in the pen and paper format and contains the following 4 papers.

 

Paper 1 - Fundamentals of Economics and Management

Paper 2 - Fundamentals of Accounting

Paper 3 - Fundamental of Laws and Ethics

Paper 4 - Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics

 

In order to be eligible to appear for the CMA (India) foundation exam, a candidate must meet the following criteria.

  • Passed the class 12 exams by a recognised Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto or has passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or the Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education.
