• What is B.Voc?

• From which University will we receive the certification?

The B.Voc degree will be awarded by Jain Deemed-to-be University. 

• Is Jain a UGC and MHRD-approved university?

Yes, it is UGC as well as MHRD-approved. They were ranked 6th among the top private universities in India by a survey conducted by India Today (2018). They are also awarded autonomy status by the University Grants Commission. They are accredited with a grade A+ by National Assessment & Accreditation Council.  They were also ranked 91-95 among Top Indian Universities by QS world rankings 2020.

• How is B.Voc different from a normal degree course?

B.Voc will prepare students for a vocation through a mix of both theories as well as practical knowledge. B.Voc lays a lot of importance on on-the-job training and thereby it carries a lot of credit points in the final evaluation. Students also gain industrial knowledge through the Skill Knowledge Partners or companies with which students have to complete the required training.

The biggest advantage, however, is that they will get a 9 paper exemption for ACCA, which means that within a span of 3 years you can complete both B.Voc as well a globally certified commerce professional course such as ACCA.
