CMA India course duration -
CMA India Foundation level is a 7 months course. To appear for CMA intermediate course (both group) you require 6-7 months of coaching. Then to appear for CMA Final course (both group) 9 months of coaching and training is required. Practical training of a minimum of 18 months is necessary to appear for Final which is included in the 9 months. The qualification has covered all the topics in detail that will broaden the students' skills and they can use these skills to showcase their quality as a professional.

Exam pattern
There are three stages in Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA India) profession in India offered by ICAI. CMA IND examination is held twice in a year, June and December respectively. Students are required to register in ICAI's official website. The candidates are allowed to pay the fees through online mode and offline mode. Whether it is the oral mode of coaching or the postal mode, the fee structure remains same and doesn’t really change that much.
The CMA Foundation is a pen paper bases examination conducted in offline mode. Students who have passed the 12th exam are eligible to appear in CMA Foundation. Exam Duration is three hours and number of questions will be 100 Descriptive type questions. Candidates will be given three hours time to complete the CMA Ind Intermediate course exam and each paper will be of 100 marks. Mode of Examination: 60% objective, 40% subjective. The Final Examination will be conducted in Offline, descriptive (Pen & Paper) mode only. Each paper will be of 100 marks and for 3 hours duration. The last dates for registration generally fall at least four months prior to the month in which examination is held.
Students who appear for both Groups of Intermediate or Final Examination with or without any exemption must obtain at least 40 percent marks in each paper appeared. They also should obtain at least 50 percent marks in aggregate, taking both the groups together.
They shall be then be declared to have qualified CMA IND Intermediate Course or Final Course, as the case may be.
Admission for the CMA India course is open throughout the year. But the students who wish to appear for June term examination should apply before 31st January of that year. And students who wish to appear for December term examination should apply before 31st July of that year. The timing for applying remains the same usually every year. However, students are advised to check the update announcements on the website regularly.

- What is the eligibility for CMA India course?
Any student who has completed their +2 exams is eligible to attend the CMA foundation exams. Graduates will get direct entry into the CMA inter exams and are exempted from writing the CMA foundation exams.
- When are the CMA India exams held?
Exams are held in the months of June and December tentatively. Students should apply for the exams before 31st January for the June exams and July 31st for the December examinations.
