The Foundation course examination is the entry-level exam for the Chartered Accountancy course conducted by ICAI. Students who have to register for the CA course are required to complete a 6 month study period. Chartered accountants are those professionals who are qualified to take on specific activities within the spectrum of accountancy.  It takes around 4.5 years to complete the CA program/ be qualified as a Chartered Accountant. The entry-level foundation course involves the quantitative aptitude test, general economics, mercantile laws, and accounting.
